Mr. Thenor focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a multitude of technological areas, including: electrical, electronics, computer software, computer networking, bio-informatics, memory devices, telecommunications, semiconductor devices, flat panel displays, and mechanical devices. He has extensive experience counseling clients on the procurement of patents as well as strategic development of patent portfolios. He has experience rendering opinions regarding the invalidity and noninfringement of patents in various technological areas.
His litigation experience includes extensive review and analysis of patents and claims for purposes of asserting patents and raising defenses, formulating noninfringement and invalidity arguments for Summary Judgment Motions, preparing technology presentations that discuss technologies at issue in the litigation; and managing prior art and document search processes to invalidate patents.
Mr. Thenor is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and admitted to the bar in New York and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, DC Bar Association, and National Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, LLP.
